There's a Windows Update coming next week that will alert users to the "end of life" of IE8,9,10 which means anyone still using XP or Vista. Win7 users should already have done all their updates and have been running IE11 for quite some time.  Win8 & 10 users started off with IE11 and are unaffected.

Ultimately, it's just a notification that IE8-10 will no longer be receiving updates.  They won't stop working but will become more and more vulnerable over time as hackers find new vulnerabilities in the old code.  For anybody running older versions, I recommend moving to either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as those will be kept current by their authors.
