I think I like this.  Currently, with Win8, you can do a Refresh (keep your files) or a Reset (wipe 'em all and  get a plain version of Windows back).  However, these both will keep the manufacturer's (e.g. HP, Dell, Asus) custom software (mostly junk that nobody uses).

With Win10, the way that the restore image will be saved is different and pristine.  Manufacturers will still have a way of including their stuff but there will be options to avoid it.
